Guardian Investigative Services, PLLC was founded by Tim Dohr, a retired police officer and local resident of Friendswood. Tim has dedicated a 21-year career to law enforcement, with over 13 years assigned to criminal investigations as a Detective. He is certified as a Master Peace Officer with the State of Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE), with additional certifications as a Sexual Assault-Family Violence Special Investigator, Police Instructor, Firearms Instructor and Field Training Officer.
Tim has investigated a variety of crimes, from property crimes such as Theft, Burglary, and Identity Theft, to crimes against persons such as Assault, Family Violence, Sexual Assault, Missing Persons, and Homicide.
Tim has worked in Harris and Galveston Counties as a police officer and has given court testimony in both counties regarding criminal, civil, and family law cases.
Tim is also a member of the American Society for Industrial Security International (ASIS).
Prior to his law enforcement career, Tim served for six years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps and was Honorably Discharged as a Sergeant.
