Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 8:45 am or 10:55 in downtown Gulfport. Our facilities are handicap accessible and we provide nursery care for children 5 years of age and younger.

Or if you are not able to travel downtown, you may worship with us via television on Sunday mornings at 10:00 if you can receive Gulfport Cableone WXXV Channel 18 (services are on a one-week delay).

We celebrate our past, building on the incredible heritage of those who have been in ministry before us, but we don’t live in the past. God’s future for us is exciting and challenging. Join us on the journey toward the heart of Christ.

Our sanctuary, built in the 1910s, is a beautiful place of worship that has stood through major storms along the Gulf Coast with relatively minor damage. But this vibrant downtown church is not just about the building. Gulfport First Methodist is about reaching out through service to our Lord and community in grief and divorce sessions, working with the cold weather shelter and our most vulnerable, while supporting families and youth.

Today, we are in ministry throughout our community, along the Coast, and around the world. Everyone who follows Jesus Christ is a minister. It is just who He calls us to be.
But we have set apart some folks for particular forms of ministry in the Church.
