Gymnastic World

Gymnastic World Naples is home to one of the most highly respected and well recognized competitive gymnastic team programs in Southwest Florida. We are affiliated with both USA Gymnastics and AAU Gymnastics clubs.

We pride ourselves in our close attention to detail and impeccable form in the routines we present at competitions.

We hold our students to high standards of performance levels, because we believe that each student should always strive to compete at their highest level of potential.

Our current competitive teams practice between 9 and 14 hours a week, and their hard work is rewarded by the multiple trophies, ribbons, and banners they bring back from each competition.

All levels and competitive teams are by invitation and the criterion is based on physical, mental, and behavioral evaluations.

Level 1 - 3

In levels 1 through 3 students develop the key essential building blocks for their future gymnastic careers.

These levels are non-competition based. Promotion through each
level is at the discretion of their current coach and is determined by the mastering of specific skill sets on each event. The goal of these lower levels is to gain strength and flexibility; body awareness; knowledge and understanding of basic skills on each event; while still having fun and making friends in the process!

Developmental Pre-Team

Developmental Pre-Team is a preparation level that is geared towards preparing gymnasts for all the physical and mental requirements that a competitive gymnasts needs.

In these
classes we dedicate a considerable amount of time conditioning, through cardio, strength, and flexibility training, along with paying extremely close attention to proper body alignment and form in all basic gymnastic skills. Once the coach decides a student has reached certain requirements in physical fitness, skill understanding, and mental maturity, they will
be promoted to our competitive team program.

Level 4 - 6

Level 4 is the first level at which your gymnast will be entered in to competition. Competitive gymnasts will perform routines on the Floor, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Vault. Levels 4, 5, and 6 are Compulsory Levels.

At these levels, all gymnasts are taught the same skills
and routines designated by the USAG Compulsory Handbook. Because all gymnasts each level will be presenting the mandated identical routines at competition, it is the close attention to detail and form that our team coaches emphasize here at Gymnastic World Naples that makes our students stand out and win awards!

Level 7 & Up

Once a student is promoted to Level 7 they enter into the next category of gymnastics known as “Optionals”. While at each level certain skills are required, the routines themselves are put together and taught by their coach. In these levels, gymnasts have the ability to let their personalities shine a little more in their routines with the new freedom that
comes with Optionals.

While achieving the necessary skills at these advanced levels is very difficult, with a lot of hard work and dedication, gymnasts may eventually be able to obtain a College Scholarship!
