HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College

HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, (HACC) is a community college in the United States with five campuses serving 10 counties in Central Pennsylvania and globally via a robust online program. HACC is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.HACC, Pennsylvania's first and largest community college, was founded in 1964 as "Harrisburg Area Community College," but is now trademarked as "HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College." HACC offers over 120 career and transfer associate degree, certificate and diploma programs to approximately 19,000 students and 35,000 students in noncredit programs for personal and professional growth opportunities. The College has more than 30,000 alumni, many of whom support the College with both their time and gifts and have achieved distinction in almost every field, including business, medicine, law, the arts, education, human and public service, the military and the technologies. The HACC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established in 1985 to raise funds for HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College. In fiscal year 2014-15 alone, the HACC Foundation contributed close to $2.3 million to the College in support of financial assistance for 2,479 students, innovative academic programs, state-of-the-art training equipment and modernized facilities.
