Hado-Bar Farm was 'born' in August 1989, when Tom, Judi, and Eric Bigham moved from their 6-acre suburban home in Elyria, Ohio to 18.6 acres of 'God's country' in Nova, Ohio.
Named in honor of Judi's first Australian Shepherd, (ASCA)CH. HADO-BAR JILL, CD, STD-d (ducks), HADO-BAR FARM has become a premier all-breed stockdog training and event facility, hosting AHBA, AKC, and ASCA events, as well as Introduction To Herding clinics and Specialty events.
We maintain a 'working' flock of 65-70 sheep (Cheviot, Barbados Blackbelly, Katahdin crossbreds) which have been specifically bred and carefully selected to withstand the physical and psychological stress of almost non-stop training and trialing.
