Hair By Jewel

Jewel is the founder of Black Women Want 2 Date and the owner of Hair by Jewel Studio, which she established in 2008. She graduated from Wilfred Academy with a degree in Cosmetology and has been a licensed hair stylist for over 20 years.

Her personal slogan is’ Jewel is a Girl's Best Friend’ because of the many friendships she has forged with her clients over the years.

Jewel also offers private hair services to clients when needed and will never over-book appointments – she understands that your time is very important!

Charity and Community Outreach

Hair by Jewel Studio often sponsors charity fashion shows, such as our 2015 Teal Takeover for ovarian cancer. We have also put on other shows to raise funds and awareness about issues like domestic violence and human trafficking. Our founder, Jewel, was proud to be part of the Glam Squad at the PGA Golf Tour Championship in recent years.
