Hallsville Historical Society

The history of Hallsville can be dated back to 1816.
Though the history of Hallsville is considered to have begun in 1834 when John Hall arrived.
Hall established an unofficial post office in 1840. The post office was referred to as Hall's Post office, hence the name Hallsville.
