The Hamilton College Mock Trial Team is a competitive trial advocacy group that competes in Mock Trial tournaments nationwide. These tournaments include both privately sponsored invitational tournaments as well as American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) tournaments. Our trial advocacy program teaches its members both basic and advanced trial law skills. These skills include persuasive speaking and rhetoric skills, acting skills, legal reading and writing skills, as well as other abilities that are crucial for trial advocacy. In addition to trial advocacy, the team teaches and practices acting and debate skills.
