More about Hammers Nightclub

We are located alongside the Bayou less than a mile from ULM. There's a large circle bar overlooking the dance floor with plenty of seating on the opposite side. We have a few pool tables inside and on the patio. The patio overlooks the bayou with ample seating as well. We want to bring a nice atmosphere to the area, and a dress code will be strictly enforced. 18 to enter and 21 to drink.

Now the Background:
The Nicholson brothers bounced, barbacked, bartended, and managed most of the bars in Monroe since 2004. From Deja Vu, Top Gun, Mustang Sally, Scruffs, Rendezvous, The Cave, Hookin Bull, etc; the brothers gained their knowledge of the night life through a variety of different bar experiences.
In 2013, the brothers bought 6th Street Bar, remodeled it, and turned it into a larger dance club. From the start, the brothers caught more flack than most other bar owners, and within 6 months the city had opted to vote down their liquor license. They sued and won, but they were forced to close down for 6 months.
In February 2014, the brothers remodeled and opened Bar 3, which totally changed the way Monroe viewed bars. It was a huge success, but they were forced to shut down a few months later when the owner of the building sold the building and voided their lease. They were able to reacquire the lease, opened back up in August, but the new owner did not renew the lease, forcing them to close in December of 2014.
6th Street ran from summer 2014 until February 2016 when the city council voted down their license yet again. After nearly a year long court battle, 6th Street was forever forced to close its doors.
February 2017 rolled around, and they were able to take on the old Library Lounge. They totally renovated and remodeled it turning it into the Hammers of today. This location had never been a nightclub, but the brothers had a vision. Though they have had their low points, the Nicholson brothers never quit. Hammers hopes the dedication to bringing Monroe LA the best spots to party is noticed. Thanks for the continued support as we couldn't do it without you.
