Hampden Park Co-op

Hampden Park Co-op is a grocery store based on sustainable principles such as supporting local producers, carrying a wide range of organic and eco-friendly products and valuing a volunteering system. The co-op is owned by 3000+ members and has 400+ volunteers.

To become a member of Hampden Park Co-op, one must buy a share of stock at a cost of $30.00. This entitles the member to volunteer if he or she wishes; to participate in the governance of the co-op; and to share in the distribution of allocated profits at the end of the fiscal year.

Members who volunteer in the store receive discounts on their purchases!
- 12% for a total of 3 hours volunteered per month
- 17% for a total of 6 hours volunteered per month
- 23% for a total of 12 hours volunteered per month
