HandUP Foundation

​HandUP Foundation is a faith-based, social entrepreneurial, nonprofit organization located in Milton, PA.
Since 2004, the HandUP Foundation has helped hundreds of families and individuals in crisis situations within our community. We strive to maintain each person's dignity by offering hope in a supportive and encouraging environment. Our name is our philosophy. We offer a HandUP, not a hand-out. We customize an assistance plan for each person that provides a way for them to work toward their own solutions. We are dedicated to offering help and hope to every neighbor who needs us.
The HandUP Foundation is supported through donations and funds raised by the HandUP Store and HandUP Recycling Center. Families and individuals are helped with clothing, food, counseling, vehicles, homes, and financial assistance.

Our Vision:
Since 2004, HandUP Foundation has been here to help our neighbors survive the crisis and work toward long term solutions that will change challenging circumstances permanently. Unemployment, health problems, homelessness, financial setbacks, and other unexpected circumstances can make a person feel powerless and alone. HandUP offers help and hope. We believe in the whole person approach. Each person we help agrees to a customized plan creating a partnership that keeps the responsibility of life change in the hands of the person in need. We care and we’re here to help!
