Hanford Portuguese Celebration

Welcome to the Hanford Portuguese Celebration! Please join us for great time sharing our Portuguese Heritage and Honoring the Holy Ghost with family and friends.

The Festival of the Holy Spirit dates back to the 13th Century, to the Saintly Queen Izabel of Portugal. Her acts of charity made her loved and respected by the people of Portugal. As families immigrated to the U.S.A. they brought their faith and traditions from the "Old Country".
