Happy Cat Snorkel Boat

Islamorada has some of the best snorkeling in the Florida Keys. The Happy Cat is a beautiful 43' Custom Catamaran that is capable of holding 30 passengers. With a more spacious vessel such as the Happy Cat you are offered a personalized snorkel adventure. The Happy Cat is equipped with a Captain and a Mate that are there to help you with all of your snorkeling needs. We also, provide you with all snorkel equipment and a fun time!

The Happy Cat visits two reefs, Alligator Reef and Cheeca Rocks. With Alligator Reef and Lighthouse being our most popular spot, we make two stops each trip at this reef. Our first stop is in about 20-25 feet of water with a submerged coral ledge that is great cover for the large fish that are hiding there. With all the fish living on Alligator Reef, you'll see lots of Yellowtail Snapper, Sergeant Majors, Bermuda Chubs and Barracudas.

After getting a look at the deeper side of the reef, we'll then head over to a spot right next to the Lighthouse where the water is 5-7 feet deep. With the depth being so shallow, you can get up close and personal with all of the coral life and tropical fish that Alligator has to offer. While snorkeling at the lighthouse, you are welcome to go around the light and underneath it where walls and walls of fish are living. With the beautiful purple sea fans and parrot fish chomping on the coral, you feel like you are in your own personal aquarium. The waters of Alligator are crystal clear and have the Bahamas' blue feel which will make you feel like your snorkeling somewhere in the Caribbean.

Being that Robbie's marina is so close to the reef, the ride to Alligator is less than 30 minutes away so you get optimal time in the water. With 45 minutes at each site, you have time to soak in the exotic feel of our underwater world. Whether you're an experienced snorkeler or a first timer, the crew is there to help you with your every need and make sure you have a comfortable and enjoyable time.

The Happy Cat also provides a reef rider rate for those who want to enjoy the reef from above and with the water being so clear and the fish in large amounts, you'll see it all! After your snorkeling adventure you can rinse off the salt water with our fresh water showers on board and purchase a cold beverage or snack and enjoy the relaxing ride back to the dock. The Happy Cat's snorkeling adventures depart at 12:00pm and 3:00pm daily which put you in the water right at the best times for visibility. So no matter what trip you choose you'll have a blast!
