Customers may chose from a variety of mediums for their portrait, such as charcoal, graphite, and pastel.

Pricing ranges from $75-$125, depending on the complexity of the portrait. For example, a portrait of a black dog (with a blank background) done in charcoal might be $75, whereas a tortoiseshell cat lying on a polko-dotted quilt might be $125. Shipping is $10 in most situations.

Portraits containing more than one subject are 35-50% more, depending on the complexity of the picture.

Production time is usually between 2-4 weeks, depending on the portrait.

The artist will need a least one (but preferably 2-3) reference pictures of the pet. Pictures should be reasonably clear and decent quality, and without backlighting, red-eye, excessive blurriness, etc. A picture that the owner feels captures the animal's personality is ideal.

Payment will not be due until the portrait is completed, though a deposit might be needed if the commission is extremely complex. The customer will have a chance to see pictures of the finished portrait before payment is delivered, but the commission will not be shipped until the artist receives full payment.

The customer should specify the particulars of the portrait, such as they medium they would prefer (black and white portraits are done in charcoal, colored in pastel), along with the contents of the background (blank backgrounds are cheapest, with price increasing as complexity increases).
