Happy Trails Farm

My farm is an ode to being wild, free and diverse like the trails of the Sierra's. It will only continue to flourish like the surrounding flora and fauna. With every passing season it will become more self sustaining until it is another ecosystem within the natural cycles of the Sierra’s. I wish to leave a legacy of food forests that meanders along the Pacific Northwest as a Happy Trail . To bestow as many families as possible with food, medicine and indigenous knowledge. First, I wish to give the people of the foothills of the Sierra’s food grown with love that regenerates with the soil. Food that is affordable or free to those that can not afford it. I wish to offer my community more than just food - sacred knowledge-that has almost been lost. The Miwok, who lived off the same land many generations before I, were able to use many of the 6,300 native plants for food, medicine and tools.
