Hardin County Animal Shelter - Elizabethtown, Kentucky

The Hardin County Animal Shelter is an open-intake, county-run shelter located in Elizabethtown, KY. The shelter accepts dogs and cats from Hardin County residents and offers these pets for adoption to the general public.

The adoption fee for dogs is $90 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, shots and a county license. The adoption fees for cats range from $60-75 and include spay/neuter and shots. Microchipping is available for cats for an additional fee.

Barn cats are available at no charge to Hardin County Farm Bureau members and for $35 to the general public.
