Harmony PT and Wellness is owned and operated by Mary Polivick Swartz, PT. Mary graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2000 with a master's degree in Physical Therapy. She has worked in outpatient and home health settings for 17 years with a variety of patients including those with spinal pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, shoulder impingement disorders, lymphedema, partum and post-partum pain, piriformis syndrome, sciatica, athletic injuries, a variety of pediatric diagnoses, neurological insult, weakness/balance issues due to prolonged illness, and discogenic pain. Mary has completed additional training to include: pelvic floor rehab, therapeutic taping, functional capacity evaluation/functional job analysis/pre-work screening & work rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders and ergonomics, lymphatic drainage therapy, complementary and alternative medicine, differential diagnosis of the GI, hepatic biliary, and urogenital systems, vestibular rehab, autism and sensory precessing disorders, and creating assistive technology.
