Harold's Corporate

On June 22, 1950 Harold Pierce opened the first H and H Restaurant with a $800 loan and a single chicken fryer. The mission was simple, fried chicken made from scratch, cooked with a recipe and method of cooking it developed exclusively by Harold himself. His motto... "chicken made just the way you like it". Years later H and H officially became "Harold's Chicken Shack". Although the name changed, the way we cook our chicken has never changed.

Today, Harold's Chicken continues to put an emphasis on preparing our chicken from scratch rather than pre-frying, we continue to use the original recipe and method of frying created by Harold Pierce 65 years ago.
