Harriet's House

Welcome! Harriet's House was built around 1878 by John and Mary Esselbach, becoming one of the first Put-in-Bay Ohio homes still standing today. In 2002, Linda and Denny Rectenwald took over ownership of the property, renamed this new venture Harriet's House, and a new guest house business began on Put-In-Bay. Customers have been returning year after year as new friendships have been made.
