Harry’s Pizzeria is James Beard Award-winning Chef Michael Schwartz's neighborhood American pizzeria first opened in 2011, a hip, casual joint for people who love pizza, but who also crave and gather around innovative, genuine cooking. Pies feature fresh, chef-curated toppings and a tender, quick-fired crust with integrity, like Braised Short Rib named one of America’s Best Pizzas by The Daily Meal. Harry’s is recognized for so much more than its delicious pizza, delivering warm service and a wholesome menu to make a meal, including snacks, colorful salads like Miami Herald’s pick for dish of the year in Warm Brussels Sprouts & Stracciatella, entrées and dessert. From the sidewalk to the dining room, the restaurant buzzes with friends and family hanging out over craft beer, a creative wine list and great music. Bright and airy, with street-facing floor to ceiling windows draped in blinds, the restaurant basks under the golden glow of gelled industrial florescent lamps and features a modern rustic interior of woods, leather, rattan, white marble, and metal. The bathroom blackboard is for guests to get creative. Named one of the top 25 pizzerias in America by Food & Wine magazine, Harry’s is in expansion mode, recently announcing a new South Florida location at Downtown Dadeland opening in spring 2017 to complement restaurants in the Miami Design District and Coconut Grove. Our menu is anchored by 11 hand-formed pizzas, quick-fired to a blistered, crisp and tender crust. Our dough is made daily with our special recipe of double zero and whole wheat flours, beer, olive oil, honey and water. We also offer a gluten-free option using a special rice flour blend! Snacks include Marinated Olives, Meatballs in Sauce made from house-ground beef, pork and veal, Polenta Fries with spicy ketchup, Homemade Organic Ricotta, Daily Soup, and Homemade Foccacia. Roasted Chicken Wings with agrodolce and rosemary crema sizzle with sticky deliciousness, perfect for watching a game on one of our TVs! Fresh and colorful salads built around seasonal ingredients follow, like Escarole with lemon, anchovy & breadcrumbs, Arugula with roasted local vegetables & shaved Trugole, Heirloom Tomato & Mozzarella, and Orange & Radish with green olive, shaved fennel, arugula & piave vecchio. Harry’s section of Entrées offer a simply-prepared main dish, like roasted eggplant and pan roasted skirt steak, all day, every day. Desserts bring a sweet finish with Daily Biscotti, Chocolate Chunk Cookie, Panna Cotta in ever-changing flavors, and traditional Zeppole, made from pizza dough proofed until light and fluffy, and fried into pillowy rounds dusted with powdered sugar and served with honey-whipped homemade organic ricotta. To make a new house a home, its “Chef Pop-Up Series” has welcomed nearly 40 of America’s most acclaimed chefs into the kitchen since opening, effectively cementing the restaurant as a fixture in Miami’s dining community and garnering it national recognition for both its consistency and energetic approach to the dining experience.
