Hastings Public Schools Foundation

To attain this Mission, the Foundation will:

--Build and maintain an informative and mutually beneficial relationship between and among the graduates of the Hastings Public Schools, the citizens of the District, the community, and the Hastings Public Schools.

--Support programs and projects, including capital projects, that are simply beyond the normal means of the District and the community.

--Support value-added educational opportunities for all students and staff members of the Hastings Public Schools.

--Recognize the excellent performance of students and the work of the staff and/or District.

--Provide a vehicle for individuals and groups to contribute toward extraordinary student, staff, and school performance.

The funds raised by the Foundation will be used to:

--Meet the real needs of students that are beyond the operating budget of Hastings Public Schools;

--Provide faculty development activities;

--Initiate and sustain programs that address the special needs of children and youth; and

--Lead or assist in capital improvement projects that are beyond the operating means of Hastings Public Schools.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Your scholarship gift can honor a teacher, mentor, a level of achievement in an academic, athletic, or extra-curricular discipline. There are countless ways to acknowledge your legacy and reward those individuals and institutions that have had a positive impact on the person you've become.

ENDOWMENTS

A gift that never stops giving. An endowment is a permanent savings plan that spends on the interest produced by the account each year. Your contribution to the endowment fund is an opportunity to support the Foundation in their quest to assist in the development of innovative and creative classrooms programs, scholarships, and teacher grants.

MEMORIALS

Memorials bestow permanent honors to individuals who have made lifetime impressions on those they've served. Please consider establishing a memorial in tribute to someone who has made your life better.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

Special projects provide opportunities to support class or individual projects that are near to your heart. Teacher grants for special learning projects also need funding.

PLANNED GIFTS

The donation of real property, stocks, bond, trusts, life insurance and bequests to the Foundation help build our endowment for the future. A beneficiary of estate gifts helps secure programs for future generations.
