Hattiesburg World Cup

The Hattiesburg World Cup is in its 2nd year of existence. This program is designed to encourage kids 6-16 to come out and play with and against fellow members of the Hattiesburg Futbol club in a fun/ relaxed environment. Each week players are split in to teams of 6-7 players and given a team name (country). Each country will play against 10 other countries during the 3 hour period. The format of the night is 4v4 games with a duration of 10 minutes. Pizza is provided half way through the night. The winning team of each night is given a Hattiesburg World cup T-shirt and 2nd-3rd place are given coupons for Soccer locker. Points are awarded to each player depending on where their team finishes for the night. There will be a prize for the Overall winner at the end of the 6 weeks and a prize for champion of character. Teams change every night so that each player gets to play with different kids. This program runs every Tuesday and Thursday 6:00-9:00 @ Tatum Park throughout the summer.
