Haunted Objects & Oddities of St Albans Sanitorium

St Alban's is very well known for being one of the most haunted location in Virginia. Now St Alban’s wants to spice up your curiosity even more to the world of the supernatural. For the past year we have been collecting haunted objects and oddities to bring one of the most interesting and unusual museums to Virginia.

The Museum will have several exhibits, Haunted Objects, oddities, The history of Halloween, The History of Spiritualism and The Occult. We want to make this one of the most intriguing yet educational museums in the state. In order to do so we need to acquire your mysterious items.

Each item acquired will have a plaque of the name of who made the endowment. Please send information on the particular item, its history and any haunted happenings associated with it. The more history we have, the better.

Haunted Objects will be verified by several weeks worth of paranormal investigation's surrounding the items. These investigation's will include EMF readings ( electromagnetic field ) along with video and audio to verify activity. Depending on the type of haunting each item will be stored accordingly. On display will be the list of active and the history of the object along with where the item was acquired.

Oddities- St Alban's is looking for the weird and unusual. This can include funeral items, cultural oddities, Victorian era oddities, post-postmortem photography and any other mysterious object.

St Alban’s is very well known for its annual haunted house. What better way to celebrate this holiday than paying tribute to its history.! We are looking for your old family costumes, photos and traditions to honor this eerie holiday. Feel free to share cultural traditions such as Dia De Los Muertos or Festival of the Dead-Obon.

We also want to offer an educational aspect to various religions such as spiritualism, paganism and other off beat belief systems. Most of these religions such as Santeria, Voodoo, Paganism and Wicca have no “doctrine” meaning these are belief systems passed down from family member to family member. Share these beliefs with us so we can educate the public! We are looking for pictures and acquiring ritual items to better inform the public!
