Haus of Bala

Formerly Lotus Yoga of Appleton:

Lotus Yoga has been a staple in Appleton's yoga community for the last seven years. I, A. Joseph Moran and the Haus of Bala, wish only to continue Lotus Yoga's greatness. Continued practice (inspired by Yelena Storma, under whose instruction I completed my 200-hour teacher certificate), active community support, and my own interpretation of traditional power yoga are the fundamental building blocks upon which the Haus of Bala's foundation and respectful growth and maturity will be built . The Lotus Yoga community has welcomed me with open arms. I only hope I can fully reciprocate that love through my relentless dedication to my practice and personal growth.

My time served as a Mental Health Specialist in the United States Army has taught me many things. Most importantly, it has taught me the necessity of unification in oneself in order to reach one's full potential. It has been this journey that has lead me to yoga and its' healing properties. Combining my physical, mental, and spiritual worlds has facilitated my desire to provide console for our American soldiers and assist he or she to find inner peace with him or herself. I plan to take these skills and life experiences and share them with the Haus of Bala's growing yoga and fitness community.

Our mission at Haus of Bala (House of power) is to maintain an intimate and sacred environment in which people can grow in their physical and spiritual practice without being committed by a membership or defined by anyone other than themselves.

Our mission is to guide students in the evolution of their yoga practice and life.Yoga is medicine.Our intention is to maintain a safe and protected space for everyone (from the new to the experienced yoga practitioner).
