Haydenville Improvement Committee

Haydenville started in 1850 prior to that the city was called Hocking Furnace.

Peter Hayden formed the Hocking Mining and Manufacturing Company (H.M.&M.co.) in the mid 1850's. They company made clay tiles made from the clay dug from the mine in Haydenville.
