Hayes Barton United Methodist Preschool

Hayes Barton United Methodist Church started its preschool in the fall of 1986 as an outreach ministry to the church and community. The Hayes Barton Preschool and MMO programs are an important part of the Christian education programs of the Church. These programs provide a Christian witness and service to the church family and to the community.

Hayes Barton Preschool believes children learn through concrete learning experiences and small classroom situations. We provide a warm and loving atmosphere where Christian principles are practiced by the teachers. Hayes Barton Preschool and MMO stress living and learning in a Christian atmosphere through programs for infants to five-year-old children.

Since good self esteem is very important in children, the preschool provides activities in which each child will feel some degree of success. We strive to enhance each child's social skills and emotional health by providing the appropriate activities and environment to promote the child's development in social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive areas.
