Haywood House

The Haywood House retains its "Old South" grace and superb workmanship of the 1800's. The "Golden Era" of Jefferson comes alive with period decor, artifacts, accessories, and furniture collected from many of Jefferson's prominent early families. Documented history of Jefferson's "Golden Era" is shared during the tour, narrated by local historians. Stories of the Haywood House and its relationship with Jefferson, stories of Southern grace and romance about a river port that saw its heyday in the years just before and after the Civil War.

Once the location of gala balls and joyful gatherings, the Haywood House is a perfect setting for elegant events. The Haywood House will gladly host teas, brunches, luncheons, dinners, intimate weddings, showers, receptions, private parties and photo sessions.
