The Hazlehurst Library serves as the headquarters for the Copiah-Jefferson Regional Library System (CJRL). There are 4 other branches in the CJRL system, which are located in Crystal Springs, Fayette, Georgetown and Wesson. CJRL is also a member of the Longleaf Consortium, which is a larger group of libraries, with multiple branches in the following counties: Copiah, Franklin, Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, Lawrence, Lincoln and Marion.
The Mission of the Copiah-Jefferson Regional Library is to provide, through collaboration and community involvement, free and equal access to information, knowledge of new technologies, lifelong learning opportunities, and the joys of reading for a diverse community of users. Our major focus is to provide excellent collections, programs and services to all citizens of the region including Copiah and Jefferson counties with special emphasis on the youth, the elderly, and the disabled.
