Prophet Walker was called by God to be a prophet from his mother’s womb. The gifts of this office were present at the age of 5 years old. At the age of 17, Prophet Walker re-dedicated himself to God and received the gift of the Holy Spirit, and has been preaching and teaching for three decades. Prophet Walker was granted a license to preach by his home church, I am The Vine Ye Are the Branches Temple of God, under the leadership of Prophetess Pastor Helena Bynum. He served diligently there as the Co-Pastor, House Prophet, Superintendent of Biblical Studies, and Director of Christian Education.

From 1989 – 1993, Prophet Walker was called to serve as Senior Pastor of the “Seventh Day Holy Branch Church of God.” The Seventh Day Holy Branch Church of God experienced major growth in all areas of ministry under his spiritual, prophetic and energetic leadership. In this role, he created a curriculum entitled “Developing Spiritual Maturity” for the entire ministerial staff, as well as candidates for ministry, that increased their leadership and counseling skills, as well as fine-tuned their evangelistic witnessing techniques.

Pastor Walker founded the Healing and Deliverance Ministry in 2000, and currently serves as Bishop-Designate of the Healing and Deliverance Ministry, and the Healing and Deliverance Ministry Fellowship.

Dr. Walker received his “Doctorate of Divinity” at Power Outreach Christian College of Sacred Theology, and is now currently in the process of creating the “Healing and Deliverance Ministry – College of Theological Studies.” Although Dr. Walker ministers in the areas of “Healing and Deliverance”, he also is involved in a several-year series of studies on the brain and the mind, and how they both interact in developing human behavior.

Bishop-Designate Walker’s community involvement includes holding the previous position of Chaplain for the South End Coalition in Frederick, MD, and counseling and ministering inmates in the Hagerstown Correctional Facility. He is now in the process of establishing for at risk youth - the Healing Yourself Outreach Program, which is to provide professional development opportunities, leadership skills, certifications, apprenticeships, career portfolios, interviewing skills, character education, links to self-help community agencies consistently incorporating the importance of celebrating diversity.

At the age of 29, Bishop-Designate Walker suffered a life-altering stroke, which rendered him legally blind in his left eye, and completely paralyzed on the right side of his body. Through this trial, he developed a newfound level of intimacy with the Lord. Due to his unwavering, time tested, Holy Ghost appointed and anointed faith Bishop-Designate Walker was miraculously healed. This healing even bewildered his doctors, in that the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ restored every aspect of his health.

Bishop-Designate Walker is married to the very lovely First Lady, Minister Lisa Walker of Los Angeles, California. She has proven to be an invaluable asset to the ministry of her husband. Her efforts to support her husband in ministry and service are commendable. Both her inner and outer beauty radiates the life of her husband and permeates throughout their ministry to others. Bishop-Designate Walker’s primary pursuits are being a responsible husband and father, growing the local church and the kingdom of God, ministering to non- believers and believers, as well as being used as a tool to break down walls of satanic strongholds.
