Healing Love and Light Therapies

Ashley Maglidt graduated from the Institute of Massage Therapies in Richmond, Virginia in 2013. She works with clients to address any postural distortion or biochemical dysfunction by applying her knowledge of trigger points and neuromuscular therapy. She provides a therapeutic massage that blends neuromuscular therapy with Swedish, acupressure and connective tissue techniques in order to give her client’s relief from both physical pain and emotional stress. To improve a client’s physical and mental health, she believes one must bring balance and harmony to the body through manual therapy and guided self healing. Ashley also has her Level 1, 2, and Advanced Restorative Reiki Certifications and is currently training for her Reiki Master.

-Massage Therapy is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person's health and well-being. Massage works to enhance daily function while promoting relaxation and well-being.

-Reiki can be defined as a healing provided through energy, made up of life force energy, that is guided by the Higher Intelligence or spiritually guided life force energy. Reiki works to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.

Ashley is continuing her education to become a Healing Touch Practitioner; the practice of creating an optimal environment enabling the body to naturally heal itself.
