Healing Our Community Collaborative, Inc. (HOCC)

The Healing Our Community Collaborative (HOCC) is the oldest, largest, most, innovative, community-based, and 100% volunteer HIV/AIDS health education and peer support program exclusively for women in the Greater Boston area. Founded in 1997, in response to a lack of gender specific HIV programs or services for women in Boston, a small volunteer group of concerned women established a nurse and peer led grassroots prevention and education program for women infected, affected, or at risk for HIV/AIDS. Over the last 15 years, HOCC has provided programming to well over 1,400 women throughout MA. and each month for over 100 women join together around HOCC programming.
