Health Works Institute

Health Works Institute is accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation, licensed by the Montana Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists, approved by the U.S. Department of Education to administer federal financial aid, and approved by the Veterans Administration to accept educational assistance for eligible veterans and their dependants.

Our History: Health Works Institute was established in Bozeman, Montana in February, 2000, as an independent, proprietary, post-secondary school offering a program in massage therapy. A program in esthetics was added in the fall of 2007. The owner-director of Health Works Institute is Ruth Marion.

Our Philosophy: At Health Works Institute, we understand that healing from physical, emotional and spiritual difficulties often occurs with intuitive and skilled touch; but, before healing can occur, the practitioner must first look within. The coaching, theories and techniques presented in both our Massage Therapy and Esthetics programs help students simultaneously actualize positive changes in their own lives while mastering the skills necessary to ultimately help their clients meet their own life goals. We believe a holistic approach melding eastern and western thought, an exceptional curriculum and meticulous hands-on instruction prepare our students for not only a successful livelihood, but also the potential to have a lasting ripple effect on society.
