Healthy Choice Ministries - The Cathedral

Healthy Choice Ministries – The Cathedral (formerly Deeper Life Church at the Cathedral, Inc.) was organized and founded by Bishop Aubrey A. & Elder Cassandra Harley in the fair township of Pikesville, Maryland, Baltimore County on January 8, 1995.

Since its inception, it has received the accreditation of raw, honest, and thought provoking. In addition, while serving the community through the preaching and teaching of the gospel, it has attracted other ministries to observe and consider its solidarity to the covering of Bishop Aubrey A. Harley and Healthy Choice Ministries - the Cathedral.

Our founder, Bishop Aubrey A. Harley, is the husband of Elder Cassandra C. Harley and is the Founder and Bishop of Healthy Choice Ministries - the Cathedral and the Presiding Prelate of Healthy Choice Ministries International, headquartered in Randallstown, Maryland.

Bishop Harley left a lucrative engineering career at Westinghouse Electric Corporation to establish the Deeper Life Church (now known as Healthy Choice Ministries). The ministry was founded during the summer of 1994 with a fourfold mission. That mission being: 1) To preach and teach the full counsel of the Gospel for the betterment of mankind; 2) To educate and strengthen a unified body of believers; 3) To embrace multicultural communities and diverse families; and,4) To prepare man for the return of Jesus Christ.

Bishop Harley received his training in salvation under the New Jerusalem Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of the Americas, Rev W.E Ayers - Pastor. Bishop Harley received his Doctorate in Theology / Divinity from the Family Bible College and Seminary in Baltimore, Maryland. He also holds an honorary Doctorate of Humanities from Spirit of Truth Institute, Commonwealth of Virginia.

The power of the Lord Jesus Christ has raised Bishop Harley to the status of a young, Black, theologian with a strong emphasis on biblical history. He thoroughly extracts the scripture for modern day life. The freshness and wholesomeness of this ministry has earned it the label of “The Healthy Choice” and has caused powerful men-of-God to seek out Bishop Harley to be their covering and counselor.

In 2006, Bishop Harley was Consecrated and Inducted into the Ecclesiastical Reign of Bishop with Apostolic Succession – hands laid on Bishop Harley can be directly traced to those laid on the original Apostles and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. An honor of this magnitude carries with it great responsibility.

The Cathedral is indeed fertile ground. The apologetic perspective of teaching promotes a the gospel in a manner applicable to today's lifestyles. With a modern evangelistic approach, the ministry has been known to hosts many events appealing to the social Christian to provide wholesome environments for networking, fellowship and lifestyle.
