Heather's Childcare

Through nurturing and individualized attention, my goal is to provide all of the children in my care with a safe, respectful and friendly environment where your child can play and learn through exploration. I strive to highlight your child’s ideas and imagination while acknowledging your child’s individual personality and goals. My goal is to provide a place where your child feels accepted, loved, protected and wanted while helping to install a sense of self worth and purpose. I recognize that each child is different, unique, and special and will be treated as such. Each child is encouraged to develop and grow at their own pace. I provide a daily routine that is structured, yet flexible to insure that every child is comfortable with their surroundings. I strive to find a balance between structured activities such as preschool curriculum, arts and crafts, reading, and group play and flexible activities such as free play and outdoor play. Through sensitivity and understanding I strive to teach each child in my care manners, kindness and respect.
