A little bit about Heather's Hope....

"We established Heather's Hope in Heather Gustafson's honor. Just before Heather’s passing on May 23, 2016, due to cancer at the age of 36, we talked at deep lengths about how we could pay things forward in her name...after.... well after she was gone from this earthly place. And Heather’s Hope came to life. This was something she was very excited about.

Heather was the most kind, caring, and generous person probably all of us have ever known -she would give the shirt off her back to anyone that needed it and Heather's Hope was one way we, her family and close friends, could ensure to keep doing those things for her, in her absence.

Our goal is to raise enough money each year to help someone that is facing a terminal illness, someone that found themselves in a much similar situation as Heather...no life insurance.. no savings.. and feeling hopeless..

We want to bring HOPE into their life for the duration of time they may have left here physically, so their time can be spent focusing on family and loved ones..Giving them QUALITY TIME back, and not worrying about the financial burden of what their untimely death will leave behind.

This is what she wanted, this is her legacy, and we are merely the bodies carrying out her mission."
