WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?

Reflexology is a non-invasive health
technique that stimulates points in the
feet, hands, face, and ears to effect change
in the organs and structures in other
parts of the body. Applying pressure
with fingers and thumbs on specific
points improve circulation, relaxation,
and well being. Reflexology allows
the body's natural intelligence to regain
and maintain health.

HISTORY OF REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology has been practiced for
thousands of years in such places as
India, China and Egypt. An ancient
Egyptian wall painting of the 6th
Dynasty (approx.2400B.C.) found at
Saqqara in the tomb of Ankhmahor, an
ancient Egyptian physician, depicts two men working on the feet and hands
of two other men.

Reflexology has been used as a healing
therapy by North American native
people for generations, and was thought
to have been passed down by the Inca
civilization.
