Heaven's Gate Large Animal Rescue

Home of the "Joshua Tree Tortoise Rescue". All animals Large and Small; Companion and Exotic are available for education, and additional hire purposes. As we are a non- profit we cannot have a price list. Please inquire for clinic, and symposium scheduling.

At HGLAR and JTTR our passion is the animals. We try our hardest to keep education high, and community outreach strong. It is only with the help of our great desert neighbors that we can continue to provide such great resources, and guidance to the public, and those animals that need it most.

Our Sanctuary is home to Dogs, Horses, Emu's, and many other exotic species. We encourage use of animals that are healthy and able to perform their genetic jobs. With this we have multiple teams of horses that you will see at various parades, events, on the ranch, and tours of Joshua Tree National Park.

Adoption of rescue animals is available on ... through our partnership with Shelter Source™ International and Pet Health Inc®. An application is required for adoption purposes, and once completed; a member will contact you back within 1 week for continued processing.

Any animal sanctioned to HGLAR or JTTR cannot be available for adoption; under strict contract and legal premise.
