Trades & Technology Degrees

Skilled tradespeople are in demand all across the country. As the babyboom generation retires, this demand is only going to increase. Skilled trades play an important role in our economy and our society.

Most trades programs are designed for fall entry (with appropriate scores in math and writing.) Not sure of your math or writing readiness? Don’t worry, we’ll get you there.

General/Transfer Degrees
Getting a start on your bachelor degree at Helena College makes sense from both an academic and a financial standpoint. Completion of the Helena College general education core requirements satisfies the general education core requirements of the Montana University System. All Montana University System institutions will accept the Helena College general education core to satisfy their lower division general education requirements.

Accreditations & Approvals

Helena College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. In addition, the Automotive Technology program is certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF), the Aviation Maintenance Technology program is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Practical and Registered Nursing programs are approved by the Montana State Board of Nursing. The RN program is NLNAC Accredited.
