We believe education is a partnership between school, parents, and children. We feel that the combination of spiritual values and excellence in academics will develop a student’s ability to live a responsible, competent and emphatic life.
The academy is the oldest and longest running Greek American Orthodox day school in the United States. Previously held in the basement of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell, Massachusetts, the school then moved to a new building at 41 Broadway Street in Lowell.
A Cultural Center was built in 1985 adjacent to the school to provide spiritual and cultural activities to the Greek and surrounding communities.
The school as gone by three names in its over 100 year foundation:

Hellenic American School- 1915
Hellenic American Academy-2005
