Helotes Cornyval & PRCA Rodeo

Cornyval began in 1966 as a way for Helotes non-profit organizations to raise money. Celebrating its 50th consecutive year, Cornyval festivities begin Thursday, April 30th and run through Sunday, May 3rd at the Helotes Festival Grounds. The grounds are located on Leslie Rd. just off of Bandera Rd in Helotes, Texas across from the entry to O'Connor High School.

The Helotes Rodeo started in 1988 as an additional feature of the Helotes Cornyval. It was jokingly referred to in some early years as a "mud bowl", but with hard work, dedicated volunteers, and a strong community sponsorship, it has become a highly recognized PRCA rodeo.
