Paul and Grace Kurtz founded Hemisphere Coffee Roasters based on the belief that better personal relationships with coffee growers mean a better cup of coffee. From Nicaragua and Costa Rica to Thailand and beyond, Paul travels and literally shakes the hands of the coffee farmers who provide the beans that Hemisphere expertly roasts and sells to grocers, restaurateurs, and customers of its Mechanicsburg, Ohio roastery. Hemisphere purchases all beans directly from the growers, and produces coffees such as Nicaragua Cafe Diego and Thailand-Abonzo, as well as a line of flavored coffees.
