Herbal Elements Soap Company goal is to use as many natural products as possible when producing our quality soaps, lotions, massage bars and other products that will benefit your skin, body and mind.

Olive Oil (Oleaceae) - I use 100% pure olive oil - A traditional emollient in soap due to its mildness while leaving the skin feeling moisturized.

Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera)- Coconut oil adds hardness to the soap while producing a wonderful bubbly lather. Coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer for all skin types- a safe solution for dryness-
enabling its ability to delay wrinkles yet fight against psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema and other skin irritations. Coconut oil helps prevent premature aging due to its
antioxidant properties.

Shea Butter ( Vitellaria paradoxa)- Shea Butter is incredibly beneficial for softening and preventing dryness

Palm Oil ( Elaeis oleifera)- Palm oil is necessary in soap production to make a stable and hard bar of soap that appeals to most. Palm oil contains hard to find Toctrienols, members of the Vitamin E family
The common form has been used to treat skin ailments as well as assisiting with anti-aging. Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant that has the ability to penetrate deep into the layers of the skin to enable healing and protection.
It also aids in the fight against free radicals when used topically.

Sodium Hydroxide- True soap cannot be produced without sodium hydroxide. Although it is used in the soap making process, through the magic of chemistry there will not be any Sodium Hydroxide left in the final bars of soap at
the end of the curing process. When the oils I use in my soap are mixed with the Sodium Hydroxide it produces a chemical change called saponification- all that remains in my handmade soaps are pure, gentle bars of soap!

Essential Oils- An Essential Oil (EO) is a concentrated hydrophobic liquid containing volatile aroma compounds from plants.
Essential Oils are generally extracted by distillation using the flowers, leaves, wood, bark, roots,seeds or peel.
