Herbalist - Bill Martin-Chaffee

Bill Chaffee is a practicing Clinical Herbalist in Annandale, Minnesota. Bill has been studying herbs and herbalism since 2011 with various notable practitioners. Currently he’s a member in good standing with the American Herbalist Guild and in an apprenticeship with Lise Wolff, Professional Herbalist AHG in Minneapolis, MN.

Approach - to combine alternative healing methods with the latest scientific findings and clinical practices. Each client is unique, therefore various methods may be used.

Healing Philosophy - to offer the support needed to restore your ability to experience balance and harmony in your health. The focus of the assessment of your health is to focus on identifying patterns of strength and weakness. Using this information, depending on your wishes, recommendations may be made that may include nutrition, herbs, supplements, counseling, and lifestyle. Recommendation may also include suggestions for creating physical, emotional, mental, and/or spiritual balance.

Fees for Services (subject to change):
•Initial Consultation and Screening Appointment $75 (Typically 90 minutes)
•Follow Up Visit $40 (60 minutes)
•Fees for Apothecary items are not included in the fees for services.

Bill is NOT a medical doctor, nor does he practice standard Western medical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. No claims will be made to cure disease, nor will any advice be offered about the use of any type of pharmaceuticals or medications at any time. No objections will be made to clients being seen or evaluated by their own medical doctor. Discussions between all care providers and physicians are highly recommended, especially if the client has any questions or concerns about their health. Bill is available to work as part of his client’s health care team by contacting any physicians and other health care providers currently being seen to discuss the client’s care. Recommendations are encouraged to be shared and discussed with any other health care professionals.

Further, Bill maintains an herbal/nutritional apothecary in his office. Many herbal products, nutritional supplements, and food products are sold for a profit. They are dispensed as a convenience and to ensure clients are receiving specific, individualized herbal formulas. Most of these herbal formulas include wild herbs that were personally harvested and made into medicinal preparations by hand. Herbs that are ordered are only high quality, pure herbs from around the world (India, China, rainforest, etc.), and will be indicated as purchased rather than personally harvested. These preparations are used to create custom herbal formulas for individual clients. Clients are not obligated to buy any products from this apothecary; clients are encouraged to purchase supplements wherever it is most convenient for them. The recommended nutritional/herbal supplements suggested are not a replacement for the medications prescribed by your medical doctor.
