Hidden Springs Horse Rescue was founded by Melanie Higdon in 2008. Since that time the rescue has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of horses. We have rescuedover 200 animals since 2008. The number of horses who are being abused, abandoned or who's owners can no longer afford to feed them has reached epidemic proportions...we operate completely off of donations and volunteer help. We receive no state or federal funding.
