Higgins Brothers Vision Care

Higgins Brothers’ Vision Care was founded in October 1982 by Dr. Donald and David Higgins when they both came back to their hometown of Plainville, CT. A new era in eye care had begun. The Higgins Brothers’ were the first to combine eye care and optical services in the same location on a same-day basis. Patients could come to our office for their eye exam, and leave with their glasses. Glasses as you wait became a reality! Their desire to be first and best in their industry remains the same today, constantly upgrading knowledge and technology as soon as it becomes available.

We constantly strive to improve the quality of care our patients receive. We maintain a friendly family environment that is comfortable to the patient yet provides the highest level of medical eye care and optical services possible. Higgins Brothers’ more aptly should be called “Higgins Family” as their mother Bonnie has managed the office and greeted patients for almost three decades.
