The Late Bishop Shameek L. Benjamin, Founder and Pastor of Higher Praise International Ministries Inc. was passionate about building powerful men and women of God that will assist in impacting lives as he, along with the congregation of Higher Praise (through the leading of the Holy Spirit) build the kingdom of God. He was a humble man, having learned from one of the greatest leaders of our time, the late Apostle James P. Pitt Sr. (a man who was the epitome of servitude), vowed to (with the help of God) progressively lead a God-led church. Prior to his transition to glory in March of 2014, he placed his wife, Apostle Designate Rachel L. Benjamin aka Apostle-Designate Rae as his successor to lead the church.

Apostle- Designate Rachel L. Benjamin has graciously vowed to continue the legacy and vision which her and Bishop began, and is currently leading the body of believers into the next era. She is a lover of the word, compassionate, and a gifted psalmist, nurturer, and worshipper who has dedicated her life to the up building of The Kingdom.

Being led of God to take this ministry to the next level, She was inspired to change the name of the ministry to Higher Dimension Int'l Ministries of Hope, which is a place where everybody is somebody, and believe that as stated in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 that we ought to "encourage one another and build each other up." We are a community of believers that invite lost and weary souls so that God can do a work in them. We strive to be like the church of the Book of Acts-a place where miracles are common, and where the Spirit of God has free reign not only in our service, but in our lives. Indeed, we are a people set aside and built for such a time as this and seek to make impact on everyone that we make contact with.
