Higher Education Channel TV (HEC-TV)

HEC-TV is St. Louis' leading producer of education, arts, and cultural television programming. Watch HEC-TV on Charter channel 989, KTVI 2.2, U-Verse channel 99 and on demand at hectv.org.

HEC-TV reaches 620,000 subscribers every minute of every day. In addition to programming for the general viewing audience, all HEC-TV television productions are available to teachers, with applicable curriculum and classroom materials. HEC-TV member institutions award more than 50,000 hours of college credit annually to students taking telecourses broadcast on HEC-TV. More than 38,000 language students enhance their studies by watching foreign language broadcasts on HEC-TV.

In just the past two years HEC-TV produced programs have won 15 national awards and five international awards.
