Highland Hall offers a balanced, comprehensive education that weaves together academic achievement with hands-on experience. The curriculum blends the humanities and sciences with art, handwork, foreign languages, music, and movement, and is designed to engage the students as they move through the three school age developmental phases: in kindergarten, through imitation, guided creative play and rich use of language through story telling; in grades 1-8 through the imaginative and artistic presentations of the class teacher, foreign languages, music, movement and handwork; and in high school, through the subject teachers who challenge the students’ awakening capacity for independent, critical thinking. Our students graduate to high ranking colleges and universities and later to successful careers in their chosen fields, where they make a positive impact on the world.
