Sumner Regional Medical Center is the flagship hospital of HighPoint Health System. HighPoint Health System serves the healthcare needs of communities through four hospitals, including Sumner Regional Medical Center, the 155-bed hospital located in Gallatin; Riverview Regional Medical Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital in Carthage; Trousdale Medical Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital in Hartsville; and Livingston Regional Hospital, a 114-bed acute care hospital in Livingston. The system, which employs more than 1,600 people, is part of LifePoint Hospitals® network of hospital facilities nationwide.
