Hight Family Farms, LLC

Established in the 1830’s with the guiding principle of respect the land and in turn, the land will take care of you, Hight Family Farms has been passed down through the family for five generations. Each generation has left its mark on the farm and now it is in the hands of Matt and David Hight with guidance from their father Mike.
Matt and David are currently working on blending sustainability and quality with adequate use of technology. Their tractors have been upgraded with GPS units and all animals on the farm are antibiotic free. Over the next few years they plan on moving the farm back to its organic roots while increasing their overall yields and improving the quality of the soil. They also plan on opening a farm store where those who wish to purchase local can do so and encouraging learning and engagement of North Carolina’s children through agritourism.
